Can I just say I really love this girl’s smile and natural beauty! I love working with her and am little sad that she is now graduating high school. Seneca has been a huge help to me in growing as a photographer and developing my style for senior portraits. When she told me she wanted to do something unique for her shoot the perfect place came to mind for her session.

I’ve mostly had senior girls as clients since starting my business so I was really excited (and a little nervous) about booking a session with Michael. Girls tend to be more into getting portraits made but I think it’s just as important for guys to have to celebrate such a huge milestone in their lives.
Lucky for me Michael was a breeze to work with. Totally laid back and natural, the kind of person that just goes with the flow even when I had him try some “new” poses I wanted to practice, lol. He was also such a gentlemen too. Offering to carry my equipment and props and always checking to see if I needed help with my stuff. My husband doesn’t even do that for me!
I also learned from his mom that not only does he have amazing manners but a huge heart as well. Michael is part of a school organization called “Best Buddies” where they pair students with disabilities to students without disabilities encouraging kids to make friends outside of their social group (read more about it here.) Michael’s buddy Nick is more like a little brother to him. They have such a great friendship that we had to include Nick in Michael’s session.
I’m so honored to have met these 2 great guys and thanks Michael for laughing at my corny jokes!!!
For me getting out of the house and somewhere by 8am is really difficult. Not to mention actually putting my face on and having my hair done…that’s just plain impossible nowadays with 2 little ones.
But for a photographer, you do what you got to do for pretty lighting. This past weekend I met up with Cayleigh and her mom for an early morning photoshoot. Not only did she show up gorgeous from head to toe, but she even brought with her the coolest “prop” I have ever had the opportunity to work with!!!
We had so much fun just being silly girls for the day. Cayleigh is definitely one of the coolest chics I have met. Down-to-earth, athletic, smart, and just plain beautiful.

I didn’t have to look far for my next guinea pig for senior portraits. Seneca is a super sweet girl from next door. She’s an incredible dancer, has impecable style, and is also one of the BEST babysitters (she makes homemade playdough and crafts with my kiddos)!
For our first location we trotted around downtown Gilbert. I love how these turned out!
